Palmas de Cortez in a
lodge-like setting in the peaceful little village of Los Barriles, an

Called
“Palmas de Cortez”. This amazing resort has become known worldwide as one
of the premier vacation and big-game fishing spots in the world, consistently
producing huge numbers of blue, black, and striped marlin, sailfish, dorado,
wahoo, yellowfin tuna, roosterfish and more.
Thousand pound billfish have been
known to prowl submarine canyons and dropoffs just a few miles off shore.
Palmas brings all the comforts to one
of the most magnificent natural settings in the world. Over 50 air-conditioned
rooms, all with spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez, plus deluxe suites and
two bedroom/two bath condos, complemented by Baja’s most spectacular seaside
dining room, Tico’s restaurant featuring Mexican and international cuisine. A
natural Paradise with modern conveniences, a striking new grand entryway greets
you as you wind your way past a fully stocked gift shop to the beachside palapa
bar. Three meals a day are included in room prices. Fresh, drinkable water,

need for scuba diving and snorkeling in one of the world’s most beautiful
preserves, the famous Pulmo Reef, windsurfing (in winter season), and horseback

Fly fishing and surf-fishing with your
own gear beckons and is excellent. Our pioneering catch-and release program is a
model for conservationists, and you can preserve your big-fish memories with
photos, special “release” pins, and the finest fiberglass wall mounts available.
