Welcome to the Grand Baja Resort,
located a short drive south of the border from San Diego in the beautiful
city of Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico. Our hotel is the perfect
place for a fabulous getaway in a spectacular setting, just slightly away
from the hustle and bustle of downtown & only a block away from the famous
Lobster Village.
We offer fully furnished one and two bedroom ocean front condos, ocean
view standard rooms, and deluxe Jr. Suites. You can comfortably sleep from

Located
just a short drive from San Diego, The Grand Baja Resort offers an attractive
concept of accommodations to overnight visitors at Rosarito
beach, renting completely furnished ocean front condos at hotel
room prices, plus each unit has a unobstructed view of the
ocean. The famous Puerto Nuevo "Lobster
Village" with more than two dozen restaurants is only
a block away. Come and enjoy our friendly sea side family
resort.
 
Directions to
Puerto Nuevo, Baja Mexico
Take
Interstate 5 or 806
south through San Diego to the San Ysidro border crossing into
Mexico. We recommend that you purchase Mexican auto insurance,
the cost of which is nominal, at one of the several insurance
vendors near the border.
After
crossing through the border checkpoint, follow the signs
(large green with white letters) which say "Rosarito-Ensenada
Cuota" (Toll-Road). Tolls are minimal and
payable in either pesos or US currency. After the second toll
booth, which is at the south end of Rosarito Beach, begin
watching for the kilometer markers at the side of the highway.
At 49km, is the
Puerto Nuevo
Exit, get off the toll road and turn left at
the off ramp, and travel half a mile. The Resort is on the
right side, with the ocean to the left. It is a large
Mediterranean style complex with an archway over the driveway.
Check in at the
reception office, the first building on the right. Check in
time is at 3
PM; check out is at noon.
